About me

After graduating Wellesley College with a BA degree in English and before moving to Glasgow to pursue her MFA Acting Classical and Contemporary Text degree at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS), Ariela was a New York City-based actor who worked professionally on both stage and screen, including in productions and developmental readings with Wellesley Repertory Theatre and Penguin Rep as well as network film and TV with Hulu and Apple TV+. Her most recent credits at RCS include Rachel in Consent, Isabella in Measure for Measure at Shakespeare’s Globe in London (RCS Residency), Louise in the short film When We’re Back created in ensemble as a part of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s On the Verge Festival, and Goods/Discretion in The Summoning of Everyman

In addition to being an actor, Ariela has been an educator in both the New York City and Boston Public School Systems. She has worked with English language learners for over four years through the Phillips Brooks House Association at Harvard University and AmeriCorps. Additionally, she has developed a course on public speaking through improvisation and taught it at organizations such as the Cornell Cooperative Extension and Breakthrough NY.
